High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I use residential proxies for web scraping without getting blocked by anti-bot systems?▼

Residential proxies route web scraping requests through real ISP IPs to bypass anti-bot systems. ProxyClaw provides auto-rotating access to 2M+ residential IPs across 195+ countries to fetch pages reliably without blocks.

Can I geo-target specific cities or countries when fetching web pages?▼

Yes, you can geo-target web page fetching by specifying country, city, and ASN inputs. ProxyClaw accepts these parameters to customize routing, ensuring requests originate from the exact geographic location required for data collection.

What is session persistence in residential proxies and when do I need it?▼

Session persistence maintains the same residential IP across multiple requests, needed for navigating multi-page flows or authenticated areas. ProxyClaw supports session targeting to keep proxy routing stable during extended scraping and testing tasks.

Do I need an API key to route requests through residential IPs?▼

Yes, routing requests through residential IPs via ProxyClaw requires a valid IPLOOP_API_KEY. You must configure this key to access the proxy gateway at proxy.iploop.io:8880 to authenticate and manage your web scraping traffic.

Does web scraping with curl_cffi and scrapling work with residential proxy routing?▼

Yes, web scraping tools like curl_cffi and scrapling integrate with residential proxy routing. ProxyClaw leverages these dependencies alongside browserforge to enable automated agents to fetch content through its 2M+ IP pool effectively.

What are the limitations of using rotating residential proxies for automated testing?▼

Rotating residential proxies for automated testing can break session continuity if not configured properly. ProxyClaw mitigates this by offering session persistence, but users must manage the 0.5 GB free tier limits and ensure valid API key authentication.
