SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

QQBot needs a simple way to send and receive rich media assets (images, audio, video, and files) without manual type handling. The <qqmedia> tag automates routing based on file extensions and enforces size and path rules to keep interactions smooth.

Core Features & Use Cases

Automatic media type routing by extension (images, audio, video, files)
Enforced rules: absolute paths, <qqmedia> tag wrapper, max 10MB
Receive media: downloaded locally and referenced in context for re-sending
Use Case: In a chat, a user shares an image URL; the bot re-sends it as a proper image attachment using the tag

Quick Start

Use the tag <qqmedia>path</qqmedia> to send a file or URL and have the system route it to the appropriate media type.

You can send images, audio, and video in QQBot by wrapping the file path or URL inside the <qqmedia> tag. The system automatically detects the file extension and routes it as the appropriate media type.

What is automatic media type routing and how does it work for QQBot attachments?▼

Automatic media type routing identifies file formats by their extension and delivers them correctly. It eliminates manual type handling by using the <qqmedia> tag to classify images, audio, video, and files in QQBot.

Does QQBot media routing require absolute paths for file attachments?▼

Yes, QQBot media routing strictly requires absolute paths for local file attachments. You must provide the full directory path inside the <qqmedia> tag to successfully deliver the rich media asset.

What is the maximum file size limit for sending audio and video through the qqmedia tag?▼

The maximum file size limit for sending media through the <qqmedia> tag is 10MB. Files exceeding this size constraint will fail the path validation and media-type routing rules.

How are received media files handled when downloaded locally by QQBot?▼

Can I use a URL instead of a local path to send an image in QQBot?▼

Yes, you can use a URL instead of a local path to send an image in QQBot. By wrapping the URL inside the <qqmedia> tag, the system automatically routes and re-sends it as a proper image attachment.
