SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This skill helps researchers and engineers securely configure and manage REANA client authentication across multiple back-ends using named profiles, avoiding exposure of tokens and ensuring reproducible back-end access.

Core Features & Use Cases

Multi-profile authentication: Create and switch between named profiles (dev, prod, etc.) for REANA back-ends.
Secure token handling: Store access tokens in protected config files with restricted permissions.
Flexible layouts: Support home-level and project-local configurations to fit different workflows and environments.
Use Case: A data science project with separate back-ends for development and production can reuse the same client config by switching profiles.

Quick Start

Configure a profile and run reana-client with that profile to verify back-end access.
