To configure autonomous daily monitoring, define your tracked subreddits in memory/subreddits.yml and run the skill with an empty topic filter to scan all tracked subs and notify you with top narratives and standouts for the day.

Reddit stories are ranked and scored using engagement metrics including post score, comment count, and distinct sub count, applying cross-community bonuses to narratives that surface across multiple unrelated subreddits.

The Reddit digest avoids repeating stories by checking prior deduplication logs in memory/logs/, filtering out narratives that have already been surfaced in the last two days of digest outputs.

The daily Reddit digest notification is formatted to stay under 4000 characters, including ranked cross-subreddit narratives and up to two high-signal single-subreddit standout posts, sent via notify.
