High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I automate walkthrough video generation from Stitch app screens?▼

You can automate walkthrough video generation by retrieving Stitch project screens and passing them to Remotion for composition building and cinematic rendering. This Skill orchestrates automatic screenshot download, Remotion component generation, and video rendering via CLI or MCP.

Can I use Remotion to add transitions and text overlays to Stitch screenshots?▼

Yes, Remotion supports adding multiple transition styles and text overlays to Stitch screenshots. The Skill generates modular Remotion components that allow easy customization of screen sequencing and visual effects for product demos.

What is the best way to configure per-screen timing for a product demo video?▼

The best way to configure per-screen timing is by using a configurable manifest that defines the sequencing for your Stitch screen retrieval. This manifest drives the Remotion pipeline to apply specific timing to each captured screenshot during the composition build.

Does this Remotion pipeline require a specific environment to render walkthrough videos?▼

The Remotion pipeline requires the curl dependency to operate and uses scripts to orchestrate the end-to-end video rendering. You can render the walkthrough videos via the Remotion CLI or MCP integration to produce the final polished output.

Why use Remotion and Stitch together for automated product demos?▼

Using Remotion and Stitch together bridges design retrieval with automated video generation to create professional walkthrough videos from app screens. This approach eliminates manual screen capture and composition building by automating screenshot download and cinematic rendering.

What limitations exist when automating screen capture and video composition with Remotion?▼

Limitations center on the dependency on Stitch project availability for screen retrieval and the curl environment for download automation. Video composition is bound by the configurable manifest settings, meaning complex custom transitions may require manual Remotion component modification.
