What problem does it solve?

Renewal tracker helps you see which contracts are approaching their cancel-by deadlines so you do not miss notice windows and accidentally auto-renew by default.

Core Features & Use Cases

Renewal deadline surfacing: Displays upcoming renewals within a configurable future window, grouped into clear urgency bands.
Business-day accurate cancel-by dates: Computes and rolls cancel-by dates back to the last effective UK business day (E&W default, with Scots/NI bank holiday differences handled based on governing law).
Missed-window reporting and action prompts: Supports a mode that flags lapsed cancel-by deadlines and recommends what to do next, including identifying uncapped pricing and CPI/RPI escalators.
Register-first workflow: Maintains a renewal register in the plugin config directory and can bulk-populate it by scanning connected CLM and e-signature metadata when empty/stale.

Quick Start

Run the renewal-tracker to get a list of contracts due for cancellation in the next 90 days, with the business-day-correct effective dates and recommended actions.

FAQPage Schema

How do I track upcoming contract renewal deadlines for SaaS agreements?▼

Track upcoming contract renewal deadlines by maintaining a renewal register that surfaces SaaS agreements approaching their cancel-by dates within a configurable lookback window. The register groups contracts into urgency bands so you can prioritize which auto-renewal notice periods require immediate action.

What happens if I miss a non-renewal notice period for an auto-renewing subscription?▼

If you miss a non-renewal notice period, the auto-renewal triggers by default. A missed-window reporting mode flags lapsed cancel-by deadlines, identifies uncapped pricing and CPI/RPI escalators, and recommends owner actions to mitigate the operational and financial risk.

Can I bulk-populate a renewal register by scanning CLM and e-signature metadata?▼

Yes, you can bulk-populate a renewal register by scanning connected CLM and e-signature metadata when the register is empty or stale. This register-first workflow extracts contract data automatically to establish your baseline tracking configuration.

How are UK business-day roll-backs calculated for contract cancellation windows?▼

UK business-day roll-backs for contract cancellation windows are calculated by adjusting cancel-by dates to the last effective UK business day. The computation defaults to England & Wales bank holidays, with distinct Scots and Northern Irish bank holiday differences handled based on the contract's governing law.

What is the best way to identify contracts with uncapped pricing escalators renewing soon?▼

The best way to identify contracts with uncapped pricing escalators renewing soon is to run a deadline surfacing scan within a 90-day window. This flags upcoming renewals and highlights pricing and CPI/RPI escalator details alongside recommended owner actions for each contract.
