SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Streamline the creation, updating, and organization of hypothesis cards and their connecting graph for research projects.

Core Features & Use Cases

Create, update, and manage hypothesis cards.
Maintain the hypothesis graph (Mermaid diagram) and the catalog table.
Handle parent-child relationships, status transitions, and result recording.
Use case: Formulate a new hypothesis, record experiment results, update hypothesis status, or manage the hypothesis graph.

Quick Start

Create a new hypothesis card, connect it to its parent(s), and update the hypothesis graph and catalog to reflect the change.

Frequently Asked Questions about research-hypothesis

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I track research hypothesis status and experiment records in a structured graph?▼

You can track research hypothesis status and experiment records by creating structured hypothesis cards linked through a DAG graph. This enforces parent-child relationships and catalog updates to maintain traceability from hypotheses to experiments.

What is a hypothesis graph and how does it manage iterative engineering research workflows?▼

A hypothesis graph is a Mermaid diagram managing iterative engineering research workflows by linking hypothesis cards. It maintains DAG relationships, enabling creation, status tracking, and result recording across multiple interconnected hypotheses.

How to create and link a new hypothesis card to its parent nodes?▼

To create and link a hypothesis card, formulate the new card, connect it to parent nodes, and update the hypothesis graph and catalog table. This enforces structured card fields and maintains DAG relationships for full traceability.

Can I use Mermaid diagrams for hypothesis management and catalog updates?▼

Yes, you can use Mermaid diagrams for hypothesis management. The process maintains the hypothesis graph and catalog table together, ensuring visual DAG relationships and structured catalog updates accurately reflect status transitions and experiment results.

Does this hypothesis management approach support tracking results across multiple experiments?▼

Yes, this hypothesis management approach supports tracking results across multiple experiments. It enforces structured card fields for result recording and status transitions, maintaining traceability throughout iterative engineering research workflows.
