FAQPage Schema

How do I structure research ideation from a vague idea to a concrete plan?▼

Formulate SMART research questions by identifying specific gaps through literature review, then defining questions that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound to ensure your research scope is planable.

Can I integrate Zotero for literature review during research planning?▼

Zotero integration is supported for literature review, enabling you to manage references and organize collections directly within the research ideation workflow to frame your project effectively.

What is gap analysis in research ideation and when do I need it?▼

Gap analysis in research ideation identifies unstudied areas within existing literature. You need it after initial brainstorming to position your new research project where scholarly contributions are currently missing.

Does this research planning workflow support method selection and milestone planning?▼

The research planning workflow supports end-to-end startup guidance, explicitly including method selection and milestone planning to help researchers move from concept formulation to an actionable project timeline.

What's the best way to start a research project using 5W1H framing?▼
