SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

It helps researchers turn an idea, codebase, or experimental results into a polished conference paper without losing track of claims, citations, or revisions.

Core Features & Use Cases

Plans the full paper lifecycle from literature review and experiment design to analysis, revision, and submission preparation.
Verifies citations, organizes related work, and reduces the risk of fabricated or unsupported references.
Guides conference-specific formatting, checklists, reproducibility notes, and human evaluation reporting.
Example use case: a researcher with results in a repository can use this Skill to shape the story, identify missing baselines, and prepare a NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, AAAI, or COLM submission.

Quick Start

Use this skill to turn your notes, results, and repository files into a publication-ready ML paper outline with conference-specific next steps.

Frequently Asked Questions about research-paper-writing

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I write a publishable ML research paper from an existing codebase?▼

Drafting a publication-ready ML paper from a codebase requires structuring your story, verifying citations, and formatting for target conferences. This skill automates the full workflow from literature review to submission preparation using your experimental results.

What is the best way to manage literature reviews and citations for academic writing?▼

Managing literature reviews for academic writing requires organizing related work and verifying every citation. This skill reduces the risk of fabricated references by grounding claims and bibliography entries in evidence during the drafting process.

Can I format an ML paper submission for NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR?▼

Yes, you can format ML paper submissions for NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, AAAI, and COLM. This skill guides conference-specific formatting, generates checklists, and structures reproducibility notes to ensure your academic writing meets target conference requirements.

How do I design experiments and track reproducibility for machine learning research?▼

Designing experiments for ML research requires logging results and tracking reproducibility to keep claims grounded. This skill plans experiment design and mandates experiment logging to ensure your figures, baselines, and claims remain fully supported by evidence.

Do I need experimental results before starting academic writing?▼

You do not need final experimental results before starting academic writing, as this skill can draft from an idea or codebase. However, providing experimental results enables it to identify missing baselines and prepare a complete conference submission.

Why does my ML paper submission keep getting rejected for unsupported claims?▼

ML paper submissions get rejected for unsupported claims when experiment logging and citation verification are incomplete. This skill requires iterative refinement and reproducibility tracking to keep your claims, figures, and references grounded in evidence.
