SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill addresses the issue of excessive per-agent context consumption by identifying and extracting shared patterns from team charters and histories into reusable skills, thereby reducing overhead and improving efficiency.

Core Features & Use Cases

Audit Charters & Histories: Analyzes agent charters and histories to identify boilerplate and shared knowledge.
Extract & Create Skills: Creates or updates reusable skills based on identified patterns.
Trim Context: Reduces the size of agent charters and histories by removing redundant information and promoting shared knowledge to skills.
Report Savings: Generates a report detailing the context savings achieved per agent.

Quick Start

Run the reskill skill to optimize team context by extracting shared patterns from agent charters and histories.

Frequently Asked Questions about reskill

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I reduce agent context overhead from shared team charters?▼

To reduce agent context overhead, you can extract shared patterns from team charters and histories into reusable skills. This promotes shared knowledge and eliminates redundant boilerplate across agents.

What is skill extraction from agent histories?▼

Skill extraction from agent histories is the process of identifying repeated patterns and boilerplate, then promoting them into standalone reusable skills to optimize team-wide context consumption.

How do I audit agent charters for redundant context?▼

You audit agent charters by analyzing them to identify boilerplate and shared knowledge. Once identified, redundant information is trimmed and promoted into reusable skills to achieve context savings.

Does context optimization require specific extraction thresholds?▼

Yes, context optimization requires adherence to specific extraction thresholds and charter trimming guidelines to ensure shared patterns are accurately identified and safely removed without losing critical agent instructions.

What is the best way to trim agent context for team efficiency?▼

The best way to trim agent context for team efficiency is to audit charters and histories, extract shared patterns into reusable skills, and generate a report detailing the context savings achieved per agent.
