Frequently Asked Questions about reversa-architect

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I generate architectural documentation for a legacy project?▼

To generate architectural documentation for a legacy project, input your 'state.json' and 'context' from the analysis phase. The tool synthesizes this data to produce complete diagrams, maps, and matrices.

Can I create C4 diagrams and ERDs from existing system analysis?▼

Yes, you can create C4 diagrams and ERDs from existing system analysis. The synthesis process transforms project interpretation data into complete architectural documentation including diagrams and integration maps.

How do you reverse engineer a legacy system during the interpretation phase?▼

Reverse engineering a legacy system during the interpretation phase involves synthesizing prior project analysis into structured outputs. This generates architectural documentation like C4 diagrams, ERDs, and impact matrices.

Does this architectural documentation tool work with Claude Code and Cursor?▼

Yes, this architectural documentation tool works with Claude Code and Cursor. It is compatible with Codex, Gemini CLI, and other compatible agents to synthesize legacy project analysis outputs.

What is needed to start synthesizing legacy project analysis into architecture docs?▼

To start synthesizing legacy project analysis into architecture docs, you need a specific output folder and documentation levels defined in a 'state.json' file. You also provide project context.

What is the best way to map integration points in a legacy codebase?▼

The best way to map integration points in a legacy codebase is using a synthesis tool to generate integration maps from project interpretation data. This produces a Spec Impact Matrix for comprehensive analysis.
