SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill explains what Sablier is and why teams need on-chain streaming token distributions to automate vesting, payroll, and airdrops.

Core Features & Use Cases

On-chain streaming: Distribute tokens continuously over time rather than in lump sums.
Vesting & vesting NFTs: Create NFT-backed vesting positions that can be traded or collateralized.
Airdrops and payroll: Support scalable token distributions across many recipients; payroll-like payments with streaming.
Use cases: Building token vesting platforms, payroll systems, or large-scale airdrop campaigns.

Quick Start

Ask for a high-level overview of Sablier's architecture and its three modules (Lockup, Flow, Airdrops) to get started.

FAQPage Schema

What is on-chain token streaming and how does it work for vesting?▼

On-chain token streaming distributes tokens continuously over time rather than in lump sums. It automates vesting, payroll, and airdrops by creating NFT-backed positions that represent the streaming contract and can be traded or collateralized.

How do I set up large-scale airdrop distributions across multiple networks?▼

You can set up large-scale airdrop distributions using Sablier's Airdrops module. It supports scalable token distributions across many recipients and multiple networks, automating the release of tokens without manual lump-sum transfers.

Can I use NFTs to trade or collateralize token vesting positions?▼

Yes, Sablier creates NFT-backed vesting positions. These NFTs represent the streaming vesting contracts and can be traded or used as collateral, allowing recipients to transfer their streaming token positions.

What are the core modules of the Sablier architecture?▼

The Sablier architecture consists of three core modules: Lockup for vesting positions, Flow for continuous streaming, and Airdrops for scalable token distributions across multiple networks.

Does on-chain streaming work for continuous payroll payments?▼

Yes, on-chain streaming supports payroll-like payments by distributing tokens continuously over time. This allows teams to automate continuous payroll distributions rather than executing periodic manual transfers.
