SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Zero-knowledge encrypted file transfer that keeps the plaintext away from the server by encrypting client-side and wrapping the payload in an SGMETA envelope.

Core Features & Use Cases

End-to-end encrypted file transfer: wrap payload in SGMETA, encrypt with AES-256-GCM, and upload via MCP to SG/Send.
Optional email delivery: send the share link via Sherpa WorkMail when requested.
Verification & download: generate a download URL with a key fragment and verify transfer integrity before sharing.

Quick Start

Provide the file to send and choose whether to email the link; the system will wrap it in SGMETA, encrypt with AES-256-GCM, upload to SG/Send via MCP, verify the transfer, and return the download URL with an optional Sherpa WorkMail delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions about sg-send-encrypted

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How does zero-knowledge encrypted file transfer work?▼

Zero-knowledge encrypted file transfer encrypts files client-side using AES-256-GCM before uploading them. The server never sees the plaintext, ensuring the payload remains confidential while generating a secure download link.

How do I send a file securely with AES-256-GCM encryption?▼

To send a file securely with AES-256-GCM encryption, provide the payload and choose optional email delivery. The system wraps it in an SGMETA envelope, encrypts it, uploads it via MCP, and returns a verified download URL.

Can I send a secure file download link via Sherpa WorkMail?▼

Yes, you can send a secure file download link via Sherpa WorkMail. After the zero-knowledge encrypted file transfer completes, the system can optionally deliver the share link directly through Sherpa WorkMail.

Does zero-knowledge encryption prevent the server from reading my files?▼

Yes, zero-knowledge encryption prevents the server from reading your files. By wrapping the payload in an SGMETA envelope and applying AES-256-GCM encryption client-side, the plaintext data stays completely inaccessible to the server.

What is an SGMETA envelope used for in secure file sharing?▼

An SGMETA envelope is used in secure file sharing to wrap the payload before encryption. It structures the data for AES-256-GCM encryption and subsequent MCP upload, ensuring transfer integrity and proper key fragment generation.

How do I verify transfer integrity before sharing an encrypted download link?▼

To verify transfer integrity before sharing an encrypted download link, the system validates the upload via the SG/Send MCP. It generates a download URL with a key fragment only after confirming successful transfer.
