What problem does it solve?

This utility renders PDF pages into PNG images at a configurable DPI, enabling quick visual review and downstream processing without manual screenshot capture.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Configurable rendering: adjust DPI (default 150, minimum 100) to balance image clarity and processing speed.
  • Page control: render all pages or a subset via the pages selector.
  • Downstream readiness: produces standardized naming <prefix>_p{p}.png for easy integration into grading or QA pipelines.
  • Example: render a multi-page grading packet into per-page images for page-flag reviews.

Quick Start

Render the first 3 pages of source.pdf to PNGs in the output directory with the prefix 'paper'.
