What problem does it solve?

This Skill fixes the operational lag between when returns are approved/closed and when your Shopify inventory is actually updated, preventing inaccurate available stock.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Inventory restocking for approved returns: For each eligible returnLineItem that has been received and inspected, it increases available quantity at the return’s destination location.
  • Controlled execution with safeguards: Supports dry_run previews, skips DEFECTIVE items by default, and ignores untracked inventory items to avoid corrupting sellable stock.
  • Audit-friendly output: Produces a CSV showing what was scanned, what was eligible, what was skipped, and what quantities were restocked.

Quick Start

Run the skill in dry-run mode for the last 14 days to generate a preview CSV, then re-run with dry_run disabled to perform the inventory adjustments.
