What problem does it solve?
It removes the last-minute writing bottleneck for launch posts by generating a complete Show HN draft (plus subreddit variants) directly from the repository’s current state and recent autonomous behavior logs.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Variant-aware draft generation: Produces the default trio of Show HN, r/MachineLearning, and r/selfhosted drafts, or regenerates only one specified section based on an operator-provided variant value.
- Context-grounded writing inputs: Builds the draft using repository sources such as README, SHOWCASE, skills counts, default-enabled skills config, recent repo articles, project lens writeups, and the last 7–14 days of memory/log entries.
- Recency-driven lead selection: Chooses a lead cold-open by scoring candidate “lead beat” events for concreteness, recency, and surprise, prioritizing dated autonomous actions (including PR references when available).
- Operator-controlled output: Writes drafts to today’s local markdown file without posting, and appends an operator-only launch checklist for review and timing.
