What problem does it solve?

Automates the collection of external artifacts (JIRA tickets, Figma designs, Google Docs) into canonical planning artifacts (.planning/SPEC.md and .planning/DESIGN.md) via MCP connectors, enabling cross-repo spec fetches and version pinning.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Ingest of JIRA tickets to extract summaries, descriptions, acceptance criteria, and linked pages; convert to planning SPEC.md.
  • Ingest Figma designs and extract design context to populate DESIGN.md with components, tokens, and behavior specs.
  • Ingest Google Docs/Drive documents, with fallback WebFetch when needed, to enrich SPEC.md with user stories, requirements, and references.
  • Cross-repo SPEC fetch to pull upstream planning material, compare versions, and surface diffs for review.
  • Robust, stepwise orchestration with non-blocking failure handling and an authoritative ingestion manifest.
