What problem does it solve?

This Skill streamlines bringing non-Sinch phone numbers into Sinch for SMS use by handling import, qualification, LOA workflows, text-enablement, and hosting order tracking so you avoid manual carrier coordination and repeated API discovery.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Importing Numbers: Add single or small-batch numbers as DCA (direct customer agreement) and create hosting orders for multi-number imports.
  • Qualification & Verification: Submit numbers for eligibility checks, trigger voice challenges for ownership verification, and track qualification states.
  • Text-Enablement & LOA Management: Generate and send LOAs (direct, reseller, or blanket), submit text-enablement requests, and monitor asynchronous hosting order progress.
  • Monitoring & Callbacks: Poll hosting order status, retrieve per-number results and reports, and validate callback payloads using HMAC signing.
  • Use Case: Move a set of US phone numbers from a third-party provider into Sinch, qualify them, and bulk text-enable them while tracking LOA signatures and provisioning status.

Quick Start

Create a hosting order to import and text-enable +11234567890 for region US with the correct servicePlanId and a callbackUrl for order updates.
