What problem does it solve?

Single-point rubrics are often too vague or produce checklists. This skill provides one integrated criterion statement that describes exactly what quality looks like, enabling concrete evidence in rubric columns and focused feedback.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Produces a single integrated criterion for a rubric, enabling clear evidence in the left/center/right columns
  • Supports three-column format by default and two-column format for younger learners or explicit band/format requests
  • Includes a student_generated mode to let students craft their own criterion space
  • Provides structured prompts, input schema guidance, usage guidance, design notes, and limitations to support formative assessment and feedback conversations
  • Suitable for student self-assessment, peer feedback, and teacher formative feedback across learning targets

Quick Start

Provide the learning target and purpose, plus any band or student_level, and request a three-column rubric by default.
