What problem does it solve?
Operate SiYuan notes through the SiYuan Sisyphus MCP tools by default to streamline reads and writes, organization, and management of notes, blocks, notebooks, attribute views, databases, tags, assets, and system info. Prefer MCP for ordinary SiYuan work; use the siyuan-sisyphus / siyuan CLI only when the user explicitly asks for CLI/shell usage, when MCP tools are unavailable, when a needed operation is not exposed by MCP, or when scripting against SiYuan is required.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Default path: use MCP tools for reads and writes, centering on SiYuan notes, blocks, notebooks, and related entities.
- Fallback strategy: CLI usage only if explicitly requested or MCP coverage is insufficient or unavailable.
- Workflow safety: ensures MCP-based automation with verification and read-after-write checks.
