SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This skill solves the latency issues inherent in the小程序 (Mini Program) dual-thread architecture by moving animation logic directly to the UI thread, ensuring native-like performance for complex interactions.

Core Features & Use Cases

UI Thread Execution: Uses worklet functions to bypass JS-to-UI thread communication delays.
Physics-based Animations: Supports timing, spring, and decay animations for fluid motion.
Shared State Management: Synchronizes data across threads using SharedValue for real-time UI updates.
Use Case: Ideal for implementing high-fidelity gestures, such as drag-to-dismiss, inertial scrolling, or complex spring-based UI transitions.

Quick Start

Use the skyline-worklet skill to create a spring animation that moves a box to a new position when a user taps the screen.

Frequently Asked Questions about skyline-worklet

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I run animations on the UI thread in Skyline Mini Programs to reduce latency?▼

To run UI thread animations in Skyline Mini Programs, use worklet functions to bypass JS-to-UI thread communication delays. This approach moves animation logic directly to the UI thread, ensuring native-like performance for complex interactions.

What is the best way to synchronize data across threads for real-time UI updates in Skyline?▼

The best way to synchronize data across threads in Skyline is using SharedValue. It facilitates real-time UI updates by synchronizing data across threads, enabling strict thread-safe communication patterns via runOnUI and runOnJS directives.

Can I implement physics-based transitions like spring and decay animations in Skyline?▼

Yes, you can implement physics-based animations in Skyline using worklet functions. The framework supports timing, spring, and decay animations, allowing you to create fluid motion for complex interactive gestures and transitions.

How do I handle high-fidelity gestures like drag-to-dismiss and inertial scrolling in Mini Programs?▼

To handle high-fidelity gestures like drag-to-dismiss and inertial scrolling, use worklet functions and SharedValue in Skyline. This combination enables native-like performance by executing animation logic directly on the UI thread.

Do I need special directives to declare worklet functions for Skyline animations?▼

Yes, you need strict adherence to worklet directive declarations when creating Skyline animations. These directives are required alongside thread-safe communication patterns via runOnUI and runOnJS to execute logic on the UI thread.

Why does my Mini Program animation stutter during complex interactions on the JS thread?▼

Mini Program animations stutter due to latency issues inherent in the dual-thread architecture. Moving animation logic directly to the UI thread using worklet functions solves this by bypassing JS-to-UI thread communication delays.
