What problem does it solve?
This skill removes state-owned and central-enterprise stocks from a stock universe to help investors focus on private and foreign-owned companies, enabling safer pre-screening.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Exclusion rules: apply four rule sets (R1–R4) to identify and drop state-owned stocks from the investment universe.
- Input flexibility: accepts a Parquet of stock data or a DuckDB stocks table and can fall back to a cache CSV if data is unavailable.
- Outputs and review: writes a non-SoE universe parquet and a review CSV for ambiguous cases, plus a built-in self-test and guardrails to ensure data integrity.
Quick Start
Run the filter_soe.py script on your universe data to generate the non-SoE universe.
