SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill requires claude-flow.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill provides a comprehensive, AI-orchestrated development framework (SPARC: Specification, Pseudocode, Architecture, Refinement, Completion) to systematically build software, ensuring quality, test-driven implementation, and efficient multi-agent coordination.

Core Features & Use Cases

5 Development Phases: Structured workflow from requirements to deployment.
17 Specialized Modes: Agents for coding, architecture, testing, reviewing, research, and more.
TDD Workflows: Enforces test-driven development with red-green-refactor cycles.
Use Case: Orchestrate a full-stack application development, where specialized agents handle architecture, research, coding, testing, and review in parallel, all guided by the SPARC framework.

Quick Start

Use the sparc-methodology skill to run the tdd mode for a "shopping cart feature with payment integration".

Frequently Asked Questions about sparc-methodology

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I coordinate multiple AI agents for software development?▼

Multi-agent orchestration coordinates specialized agents across development phases using SPARC methodology—Specification, Pseudocode, Architecture, Refinement, Completion—ensuring parallel execution, cross-agent communication, and synchronized results from research, design, coding, and testing agents.

What is test-driven development workflow and how does it fit into a development methodology?▼

Test-driven development enforces a red-green-refactor cycle where tests drive implementation decisions. SPARC methodology integrates TDD across its 5 phases with 17 specialized modes, ensuring quality assurance and systematic code refinement from specification through deployment.

Can I use Claude Flow to build a structured development workflow?▼

Claude Flow serves as the foundation for SPARC methodology, enabling mode-based orchestration and parallel agent execution. It powers the framework's ability to coordinate specialized agents across architecture, coding, testing, review, and deployment phases systematically.

How do I implement test-driven development across full-stack application development?▼

Start with the TDD mode in SPARC methodology to orchestrate full-stack development where specialized agents handle architecture, research, coding, and testing in parallel, each applying test-first principles and feeding results into refinement and completion phases.

What are the limitations of multi-agent orchestration at scale?▼

SPARC methodology addresses scalable deployment pipelines and parallel execution, but effectiveness depends on clear specifications, agent role definition, and memory integration. Complex interdependencies between agents may require iterative refinement cycles.

Does this development framework require specific architecture patterns or team structure?▼

SPARC methodology satisfies functional and technical requirements for mode-based orchestration and parallel execution but doesn't mandate specific architecture patterns. It adapts to your system design—the framework orchestrates agents around your chosen architecture and deployment strategy.
