SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Transform vague feature ideas into clear, implementable specifications to reduce ambiguity and accelerate delivery.

Core Features & Use Cases

Phase-driven planning: gather requirements using EARS, draft a design, and plan executable tasks.
AI-assisted collaboration: provides structured prompts and traceability from idea to implementation for teams and AI copilots.
Use cases include planning for complex features, creating design docs, and breaking down work into actionable tasks with traceability.

Quick Start

Provide a complete spec by first collecting user stories with acceptance criteria using EARS, then generate a design document and a task plan.

FAQPage Schema

How do I turn vague feature ideas into clear, implementable specifications?▼

To turn vague feature ideas into clear specifications, use a phase-driven approach that gathers requirements using EARS, drafts design documents, and generates traceable executable task plans.

What is the EARS syntax for requirements engineering?▼

EARS is a requirements engineering practice used to write unambiguous acceptance criteria for user stories, ensuring structured prompts and traceability from idea to implementation.

How do I create an actionable task plan from a design document?▼

You can create an actionable task plan from a design document by generating phase-aligned design artifacts that break down complex project work into traceable, executable tasks.

Does spec-driven development work for AI-assisted engineering tasks?▼

Spec-driven development works for AI-assisted engineering tasks by providing structured prompts and enforcing requirements engineering practices, enabling AI copilots to trace implementation back to original design docs.

What is the best way to plan complex product features with traceability?▼

The best way to plan complex product features with traceability is to apply a phase-driven workflow that links user stories and acceptance criteria to design artifacts and executable task plans.
