FAQPage Schema

How do I add a new feature to an existing software project without restarting the plan?▼

You can bolt new features onto a project mid-flight by appending new scoped stages to your master checklist. This workflow automation approach extends existing development plans without requiring a fresh product requirements document or disrupting the current flow.

How does complexity assessment work for incremental development tasks?▼

Complexity assessment for incremental development tasks uses a dedicated sub-agent to analyze the requested feature. It then proposes a logical, manageable breakdown of tasks to append to your existing project management checklist.

Does workflow automation for feature addition require specific project configuration?▼

Workflow automation for feature addition requires integration with project-specific configuration files and adherence to established development conventions. It operates by detecting if your project is managed by the ByTheSlice framework to provide the correct integration path.

Can I use agile project management scaffolding for a standard project not built with ByTheSlice?▼

You can use this scaffolding for a standard project not built with ByTheSlice. The state-aware workflow automatically detects the project type and provides the correct setup path for integrating incremental feature stages.

What are the limitations of appending feature stages to a master checklist mid-flight?▼

A limitation of appending feature stages mid-flight is that it requires existing project plans to manage. It extends current development plans rather than generating a new product requirements document from scratch for the added features.
