What problem does it solve?
It helps you quickly understand whether your Speckit spec, task list, and Squad agents are aligned, so you can spot coverage gaps, unrouted work, and idle agents before or after a spec change.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Spec-to-agent coverage mapping: Cross-references spec domains and concerns against active Squad agents to highlight missing responsibilities (e.g., CI/CD or mobile coverage).
- Task routing validation: Compares tasks to the current Squad routing rules to identify tasks that cannot be routed to an active agent.
- Agent utilization reporting: Flags active agents that have no mapped tasks, indicating idle capacity or missing routing.
Quick Start
Run the command to show alignment between your spec, tasks, and Squad agents, using the default detailed output: speckit-squad-status.
