SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill requires yaml, markdown, and includes scripts (resource) and references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill streamlines the creation of detailed, dependency-ordered task lists for software features, reducing manual planning time.

Core Features & Use Cases

Automated Task Breakdown: Generates comprehensive tasks organized by development phases and user stories from design documentation.
Dependency Mapping: Creates a visual dependency graph to clarify task execution order.
Use Case: For a new software module, quickly produce a structured to-do list covering setup, implementation, testing, and polish, aligned with project specifications.

Quick Start

Input the project design files in the specified directory; then execute the task generation command to obtain a ready-to-implement tasks.md.

FAQPage Schema

How do I generate a dependency-ordered task list from software design artifacts?▼

You can generate a dependency-ordered task list by inputting project design files into a designated directory and executing a task generation command to output a structured markdown file.

What is automated task breakdown for software feature development?▼

Automated task breakdown is the process of parsing project specifications to create comprehensive tasks organized by development phases and user stories from design documentation.

Can I use markdown and yaml for project planning and workflow generation?▼

Yes, the system parses project specifications and delivers actionable tasks by utilizing yaml and markdown dependencies to structure the final task generation output.

Does the generated task list include a visual dependency graph for execution order?▼

Yes, the generated task list includes a visual dependency graph that maps task relationships to clarify the exact execution order for software development phases.

How do I set up the environment for parsing project specifications into actionable tasks?▼

Environment setup requires configuring the system to read input project design files from a specified directory so the parsing logic can process them into a tasks.md file.

What is the best way to structure software development tasks from user stories?▼

The best way to structure tasks from user stories is to automate generation from design artifacts, which aligns structured task breakdowns with specific development phases.
