What problem does it solve?

Render and apply Splunk Platform Dashboard Studio dashboards, enabling a render-first workflow that lets you review the JSON definition and the data/ui/views XML wrapper before writing the view live.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Render Dashboard Studio assets (dashboard.json and view.xml) from a Dashboard Studio definition or a minimal render from a search.
  • Post the rendered view to Splunk data/ui/views with proper ACL governance and optional overwrite via --accept-overwrite.
  • Validate rendered assets and iterate safely with dry-run, preflight, and status workflows.

Quick Start

Render a Dashboard Studio dashboard named net_overview from a search, review the generated dashboard.json and view.xml, then apply to Splunk.
