FAQPage Schema

How do I render a Splunk SOAR deployment plan for on-prem and cloud environments?▼

Splunk SOAR deployment plans are rendered deterministically for on-prem single instances, on-prem clusters, and cloud onboarding workflows using the setup.sh script. The process validates preflight requirements and generates production-ready artifacts.

Can I use this to automate Splunk SOAR cluster installations with external services?▼

Yes, Splunk SOAR cluster installations are fully supported with built-in rendering for external services like PostgreSQL, GlusterFS, Elasticsearch, and HAProxy, alongside Automation Broker and Splunk-side app wiring configurations.

What is included in the SOAR Cloud onboarding workflow?▼

The SOAR Cloud onboarding workflow includes JWT capture, IP allowlists configuration, and automation-user provisioning to ensure deterministic artifact rendering and preflight validation for production-ready cloud deployments.

Does the deployment validation support Splunk Enterprise Security integration readiness?▼

Yes, the Splunk SOAR lifecycle validation includes ES integration readiness checks. The end-to-end handoff workflows validate installation and integration artifacts to ensure production-ready deployments across on-prem and cloud environments.

How do I validate preflight requirements before applying a Splunk SOAR deployment?▼

Preflight validation for Splunk SOAR deployments is executed through the skill's dedicated scripts and MCP tools. This ensures deterministic artifact rendering and hand-off readiness before applying the configuration to on-prem or cloud environments.
