What problem does it solve?
Analyzes and compares the sync-time performance of Squid SDK deployments by collecting and interpreting logs across one or more indexers, helping teams identify bottlenecks and validate optimizations.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Fetches logs via the sqd CLI for one or more deployments and parses per-service progress data.
- Generates a self-contained HTML report (Chart.js inlined) plus a Markdown summary with wall-clock, active processing, and downtime breakouts at log-spaced breakpoints.
- Supports both multi-deployment comparisons and single-indexer profiling, with configurable breakpoints and downtime thresholds.
- Use case: compare two indexers to measure which reaches chain tip faster and which exhibits idle tail in between.
Quick Start
Run /squid-perf with one or more refs to fetch, parse, and render the performance report.
