FAQPage Schema

How do I generate an IEEE 830-1998 compliant SRS document from brainstormed ideas?▼

You can generate an IEEE 830-1998 compliant SRS document by running a seven-step pipeline that converts raw requirements into fully-validated specifications. The process handles requirement elicitation, validation, and documentation automatically.

What is the best way to automate software requirements specification for AI-assisted development?▼

Automating software requirements specification for AI-assisted development involves using a structured pipeline to transform raw ideas into standardized documents. This approach integrates automated validation checks throughout the requirement elicitation and documentation workflow.

Can I use markdown-capable LLMs like Gemini CLI and GitHub Copilot for requirements management?▼

Yes, you can customize the SRS generation workflow to support Claude Code, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, and other markdown-capable LLMs. This integration streamlines the conversion of raw requirements into structured specifications.

How does automated validation work during software requirements specification generation?▼

Automated validation ensures quality checks are applied throughout the SRS generation pipeline. It systematically verifies the structured outputs of requirement elicitation before finalizing the IEEE 830-1998 compliant documentation.

Do I need any specific dependencies to run the SRS generation pipeline?▼

No specific external dependencies are required to run the SRS generation pipeline. The workflow operates independently using its internal scripts to manage requirement elicitation, validation, and documentation.

What are the limitations of using a structured pipeline for software requirements specification?▼

The structured pipeline focuses strictly on generating IEEE 830-1998 compliant SRS documents from brainstormed ideas. It is tailored for automated requirements management and may not accommodate non-standard specification formats outside this framework.
