SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

SSRN hosts many papers but direct scraping is often blocked and abstracts may be missing in metadata. This skill combines Google Scholar discovery snippets with OpenAlex's structured metadata to provide a reliable SSRN search workflow.

Core Features & Use Cases

Dual-source discovery: Google Scholar for discovery with snippets and OpenAlex for structured metadata (DOI, citations, year, authors).
OpenAlex-backed SSRN records: align SSRN IDs with DOIs, and fetch year, authors, and citation data for rapid literature reviews.
Use cases include literature surveys, systematic reviews, and quick background checks for research projects.
Note: OpenAlex rarely includes SSRN abstracts; rely on Scholar snippets for content when needed.

Quick Start

Run a search for your topic on SSRN using Scholar for discovery and OpenAlex for metadata.
