What problem does it solve?

Seed data files trigger automatic population of initial records when the service starts or a workspace initializes, ensuring a ready-to-use environment without manual entry.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Automatic import from main/default/data in JSON, YAML, or CSV formats.
  • Supports object-level _id, template variables (${space_id}, ${space_owner_id}).
  • Two import modes: on startup onlyInsert and on space init upsert; preserves space/owner/created/created_by on upsert.
  • Date handling and autonumber guidance; idempotent imports and data integrity.

Quick Start

Place seed data files under main/default/data and restart the service to import them.
