SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

Tacit engineering knowledge—the unwritten rules and conventions—is often lost or inconsistently applied. This Skill automates the process of extracting this critical knowledge through guided interviews and transforms it into structured, AI-readable "steerings," ensuring consistent application and reducing onboarding time.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Guided Knowledge Extraction: Conducts context-aware interviews to capture engineering practices, architecture decisions, and team conventions.
  • AI-Ready Steerings: Generates concise steering documents in an "Intent → Rules → Practices → Meta" format, directly usable by AI coding agents.
  • Review & Transform: Analyze existing steering documents and automatically reformat them to meet standard guidelines.
  • Use Case: Onboard a new developer by automatically generating a comprehensive set of project steerings covering codebase topology, testing strategy, and security practices, ensuring they quickly align with team standards.
