Frequently Asked Questions about subagent-driven-development

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

What is subagent-driven development and how does it fit into a development workflow?▼

Subagent-driven development automates task execution and iterative code reviews by assigning independent tasks to subagents. This approach preserves context for focused work and ensures compliance with specifications throughout the development workflow.

How do I automate code reviews for complex feature implementation?▼

You can automate iterative code reviews by assigning implementation tasks to subagents and conducting reviews after each task completes. A final code review template ensures overall quality and specification compliance at the end of the development branch.

When should I use subagents for task execution in software engineering?▼

Use subagents for task execution when implementing a complex feature with multiple tasks that require specialization. This approach preserves context, ensures focused work, and maintains quality control through iterative reviews after each independent task.

Does subagent-driven development require specific dependencies or environments?▼

Subagent-driven development works without external dependencies, utilizing internal scripts and reference components. You need a feature plan file like 'feature-plan.md' to start a development session and execute the workflow with the required subagent prompts.

What is the best way to ensure code quality during iterative development?▼

The best way to ensure code quality is combining subagent task execution with iterative reviews. Conduct focused reviews after each task and a comprehensive final review at the end of the development branch using a final code review template.

How do I start a subagent-driven development session?▼

Start a subagent-driven development session by running the skill with a feature plan file like 'feature-plan.md'. The workflow utilizes multiple subagent prompts to execute tasks and a final code review template to ensure specification compliance.
