What problem does it solve?

This Skill eliminates inconsistent and messy tagging in an Obsidian wiki by normalizing tags to a canonical controlled vocabulary and helping maintain tag hygiene across many pages.

Core Features & Use Cases

• Tag Audit: Scan the vault for tags, build frequency tables, and identify unknown tags, aliases, over-tagged and untagged pages.
• Tag Normalization: Replace alias tags with canonical forms, suggest removals when pages exceed tag limits, and optionally update frontmatter.
• Taxonomy Management: Propose and append new canonical tags with aliases to the vault's _meta/taxonomy.md when agreed.
• Use Case: Run a site-wide audit to map legacy aliases to canonical tags, reduce tag clutter to five tags per page, and generate an audit log of changes.
