What problem does it solve?

It prevents an AI from performing productive work by switching responses to short, cold, deadpan tangping aphorisms instead of carrying out the user’s requests.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Refusal-first behavior: Stops writing code, planning, researching, drafting, analyzing, or completing tasks for the rest of the session.
  • Tangping aphorisms: Responds with concise lines from a built-in quote library, optionally with snarky deadpan phrasing.
  • Crisis/exception handling: When the user asks how to disable/edit/check the skill, it provides normal help; if the user expresses crisis or immediate personal danger, it stops “performing” and switches to cautious, practical assistance.

Example use: When you prompt an agent to generate OKRs, a roadmap, or other deliverables, the skill will refuse and reply with tangping lines rather than producing the requested output.

Quick Start

Tell your agent to load tangping-skill and enter tangping mode for refusing work and outputting tangping aphorisms.
