SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill solves the challenge of multi-asset replication across frames and layouts by enabling targeted subject replacement while preserving composition, shot order, and typographic structure.

Core Features & Use Cases

Input-driven replication: specify target roles and reference constraints to guide replacements, supporting multiple references to enforce consistency.
Deterministic replication plan: produce a summary of kept items, replaced items, and conflicts; maintain 9-pane grids and shot sequence for storyboard tasks; preserve layout and text regions.
Robust failure handling: strict error reporting when critical assets are missing or inconsistencies arise, preventing silent corrections.

Quick Start

Provide assetInputs with the target role and references to begin a guided replication across frames.

Frequently Asked Questions about tapcanvas-replicate

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I replace assets in a storyboard while preserving the original layout and composition?▼

To replace assets while preserving layout and composition, you need a replication process that targets specific subjects for replacement and maintains the original shot order, 9-pane grids, and text regions. This approach outputs a deterministic replication plan detailing kept items, replaced items, and conflicts.

What is multi-asset replication and how does it work for frame-by-frame sequences?▼

Multi-asset replication for frame-by-frame sequences is the process of replacing subjects across multiple frames while strictly maintaining the original composition, sequence, and grid alignment. It works by taking asset inputs with target roles and reference constraints to guide targeted replacements.

Can I use reference images to ensure consistency across multiple layout design variants?▼

Yes, you can use reference images to ensure consistency across multiple layout design variants by specifying them as constraints within your asset inputs. This input-driven approach guides the replication process to enforce visual and structural consistency across all generated variants.

How do I start a guided replication task for my design assets?▼

To start a guided replication task, provide asset inputs that specify the target roles and reference constraints for your design assets. This initiates the replication process across frames and layouts, replacing subjects while preserving the underlying typographic structure and composition.

What happens if critical assets are missing during a layout replication task?▼

If critical assets are missing during a layout replication task, the replication process enforces strict failure handling and robust error reporting. This prevents silent corrections or unintended layout shifts, ensuring that inconsistencies are explicitly flagged before the replication plan is finalized.

Does asset replication support preserving text regions and typographic structure in layouts?▼

Yes, asset replication supports preserving text regions and typographic structure in layouts. The process specifically targets subject replacement while maintaining the original composition and formatting, ensuring that layout designs with text regions retain their structural integrity.
