SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) and references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps determine if a task is complex enough to require a structured todo list and suggests relevant AI skills to assist in its completion.

Core Features & Use Cases

Complexity Assessment: Evaluates tasks based on factors like number of components, prerequisites, testing, documentation, and configuration needs.
Todo List Recommendation: Advises whether a todo list is necessary (typically for tasks >3 steps).
Skill Suggestion: Identifies and recommends other AI skills that can help accomplish the task.
Use Case: When a user asks to "implement user authentication," this skill will analyze the request, determine it's complex, recommend creating a todo list, and suggest skills like feature-breakdown and github-workflows.

Quick Start

Assess the complexity of adding a new feature to the user profile.

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I assess task complexity to determine if a todo list is needed?▼

Assess task complexity by evaluating components, prerequisites, testing, documentation, and configuration needs. This assessment estimates the required steps and recommends creating a todo list for tasks exceeding three steps.

What factors are used in complexity analysis for software engineering tasks?▼

Complexity analysis evaluates the number of components, prerequisites, testing requirements, documentation needs, and configuration to estimate the total steps required for completing software engineering tasks.

How do I plan workflow management for implementing a new feature like user authentication?▼

Plan workflow management by analyzing the implementation request to determine complexity, recommending a structured todo list for multi-step requirements, and suggesting relevant AI skills to assist.

Do I need a todo list for a task with more than three steps?▼

A todo list is typically needed for a task with more than three steps. The assessment evaluates task complexity based on components and prerequisites to advise whether a structured todo list is necessary.

Can I get skill suggestions to help complete a complex software engineering task?▼

Skill suggestions are generated by dynamically analyzing descriptions of available AI skills. When assessing a complex task like user authentication, it identifies and recommends relevant skills such as feature-breakdown and github-workflows.

When should I not use a structured todo list for task planning?▼

A structured todo list is not recommended for simple tasks that do not exceed the three-step threshold. The complexity assessment determines that a todo list is unnecessary when minimal components and prerequisites are involved.
