SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

The 5-phase framework provides a structured approach to design complete, scalable agent teams from scratch for complex workflows, codifying roles, handoffs, and validation.

Core Features & Use Cases

5-phase design process (Domain Analysis, Agent Identification, Individual Design, Team Assembly, Validation) to build end-to-end agent architectures.
Role templates, handoff configurations, and resource references to accelerate team creation for software, DevOps, or content workflows.
Use Case: When starting a multi-agent project, use this framework to map agents, responsibilities, data flows, and success criteria, then generate implementation plans.

Quick Start

Outline your project, define five phases, design agent roles, and begin implementing the team using the framework.

Frequently Asked Questions about team-design-framework

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

What is a multi-agent team design framework and when do I need one?▼

A multi-agent team design framework structures the creation of scalable agent architectures for complex workflows. You need one to codify agent roles, handoffs, and validation when automating software, DevOps, or content processes from scratch.

How do I design a scalable multi-agent system from scratch?▼

To design a scalable multi-agent system, apply a structured 5-phase process: Domain Analysis, Agent Identification, Individual Design, Team Assembly, and Validation. This maps agent responsibilities, data flows, and success criteria before generating implementation plans.

Can I use this framework to plan agent handoffs and role templates for DevOps workflows?▼

Yes, the framework supports configurable handoffs and role templates specifically for DevOps workflows. It accelerates team creation by providing resource references and validating data flows across your designated software or content automation pipelines.

What's the best way to validate multi-agent architecture before implementation?▼

The best way to validate multi-agent architecture is using the framework's dedicated Validation phase. After Domain Analysis, Agent Identification, Individual Design, and Team Assembly, this phase checks mapped responsibilities and success criteria to ensure scalable team assembly.

Does this team design framework require specific dependencies or prior codebase analysis?▼

No specific dependencies are required to use the framework. It leverages codebase analysis-driven team generation, allowing you to start multi-agent projects by outlining your project domain and defining the structured phases to map agents.

When should I not use a structured 5-phase approach for agent architecture planning?▼

You should avoid a structured 5-phase approach for simple, single-agent tasks that do not require complex handoffs, role templates, or team assembly. The framework is built for end-to-end architecture planning across multi-agent systems, not basic isolated automations.
