What problem does it solve?

This skill defines standardized data models, schemas, and animation parameters to enable consistent creation and validation of container terminal equipment models (STS cranes, RTGs, RMGs, ASCs, reach stackers, terminal tractors) for simulation and planning tools.

  • Standardized interfaces and defaults for equipment models such as appearance, movement, capabilities, and stop conditions.
  • Reusable templates for categories (STS, RMG, ASC, RTG, reach stacker, terminal tractor) to accelerate development of new equipment simulations.
  • Use Case: when building a port-terminal simulator, engineers instantiate equipment entities using this schema to ensure compatibility with the animation system and physics engine.

Quick Start

Create a new STS crane with default values by invoking the factory with a chosen size class.
