SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill coordinates running and constructing tests for a large monorepo, enabling consistent QA across packages and faster feedback cycles.

Core Features & Use Cases

Run mode executes the test suite for one or more packages and reports results
Construct mode generates new tests for recently implemented code
Integrates with Vitest, Jest, and Playwright across domains (agent-framework, forge, platform, etc.), honoring per-package configurations and CLAUDE/TEST_PLAN guidance

Quick Start

Run tests for selected packages or use construct mode to generate tests for recently implemented code.

FAQPage Schema

How do I run tests across multiple packages in a monorepo with Vitest and Playwright?▼

You can run tests across monorepo packages by executing the test suite for one or more packages. The workflow respects per-package configurations for Vitest, Jest, and Playwright, enforcing deterministic behavior across agent-framework, forge, and platform components.

What is the best way to generate new tests for recently implemented code in a monorepo?▼

Generating new tests for recently implemented code is handled through a dedicated construct mode. This mode applies test-plan driven generation across multiple packages, integrating with TEST_PLAN.md guidance to scaffold tests that match your monorepo's specific domain structure.

Can I triage test failures and plan fixes for a monorepo test suite?▼

Triage and planning of failures are supported directly within the monorepo testing workflow. The process executes tests, reports results, and applies test-plan driven generation to guide deterministic fixes across packages like agent-framework, forge, and platform.

Do I need a specific package.json or configuration setup to run monorepo tests?▼

You need root package.json prerequisites and per-package configurations for Vitest, Jest, or Playwright. The testing workflow enforces a two-mode lifecycle and integrates with CLAUDE.md and TEST_PLAN.md files to drive deterministic test behavior across the monorepo.

Does the monorepo test runner support both Vitest and Jest configurations simultaneously?▼

Yes, the test runner supports both Vitest and Jest configurations simultaneously across different packages. It honors per-package configurations for agent-framework, forge, platform, and L4/L5 components, applying the appropriate framework settings for each domain.
