SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Brainbase workflow validator automates end-to-end analysis and verification of project workflows against brainbase standards, reducing manual review and accelerating governance.

Core Features & Use Cases

Two-phase orchestration: Phase 1 analyzes tasks, milestones, and RACI alignment; Phase 2 generates a prioritized validation report.
Orchestrator-driven governance: Centralized workflow validation aligned with brainbase principles.
Use Case: Validate a new or existing brainbase project to surface gaps and recommended actions.

Quick Start

Prepare a target project name (e.g., brainbase-ui) and desired scope.
Run Phase 1 to produce a Phase 1 output with a list of issues and metrics.
Run Phase 2 to generate a final validation report with prioritized actions and next steps.

FAQPage Schema

How do I validate project workflows against brainbase standards?▼

To validate project workflows, run the two-phase orchestrator which analyzes tasks, milestones, and RACI alignment from your project directory. Phase 1 generates an initial issue list and metrics, while Phase 2 produces a final validation report with prioritized actions and next steps.

What does two-phase validation mean for milestone management?▼

Two-phase validation splits workflow verification into an initial analysis phase and a reporting phase. Phase 1 examines task formats and RACI alignment to surface issues, and Phase 2 generates a prioritized validation report to guide your next milestone management actions.

How do I generate a validation report for RACI alignment gaps?▼

Generate a validation report by running Phase 2 after completing Phase 1 issue analysis. The orchestrator reads project data to examine RACI alignment, automatically outputting a markdown report that prioritizes actions to resolve any identified governance gaps.

Do I need specific dependencies to run a brainbase project validation?▼

No external dependencies are required to run the brainbase project validation. However, the orchestrator relies on internal task-format, milestone-management, and principles Skills, reading data directly from your _codex/projects and _tasks directories to function properly.

Can I use this workflow validator on an existing brainbase project?▼

Yes, you can validate both new and existing brainbase projects. Simply prepare the target project name and desired scope, then execute the two-phase validation to surface gaps, verify task formats, and generate recommended actions for your current project state.

What output format does the workflow validation report use?▼

The workflow validation report outputs markdown files. Phase 1 writes an initial issue list with metrics to markdown, and Phase 2 generates the final validation report containing prioritized actions and next steps in the same format.
