SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Provides a structured framework to stress-test a research thesis by explicitly contrasting supporters, the central assumption, and skeptical critiques to surface gaps and risk.

Core Features & Use Cases

Generates an interactive HTML artifact following a fixed design system, with a three-column layout for Proponents, Core Assumption, and Critics.
Includes a concise "How wrong can this be" risk paragraph and a Milestones section for observable events.
Exports a research note or summary suitable for sharing or archival and can be adapted to other thesis topics.

Quick Start

Describe a thesis topic and let Curiosity Stack generate a stress-test artifact.

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I stress-test a research thesis to identify critical risks and gaps?▼

A thesis stress-test organizes your topic into proponents, core assumptions, and critics to reveal gaps. It produces a structured risk paragraph and observable milestones within a production-ready HTML research brief.

What is the best way to structure a critical analysis of opposing research viewpoints?▼

The best way to structure a critical analysis is by contrasting supporters and skeptical critiques around a central assumption. This reveals potential flaws and generates a comprehensive risk assessment alongside observable milestones for tracking.

Can I generate an exportable research brief with a risk section and milestones?▼

Yes, you can generate an exportable research brief that includes a concise risk section and a milestones list. The output is a ready-to-share HTML artifact following a fixed three-column design system with an attribution footer.

Does thesis stress-testing work for diverse research topics and timeframes?▼

Yes, thesis stress-testing is applicable to diverse topics and timeframes. The framework adapts to any research subject to systematically identify assumptions, critics, and proponents, ensuring comprehensive risk analysis regardless of the domain.

How do I create observable milestones to track the validity of a research assumption?▼

Creating observable milestones involves defining 3-4 measurable events that would validate or invalidate your thesis. These milestones are systematically generated based on the core assumptions and skeptical critiques identified during the stress-test.
