System Documentation
What problem does it solve?
It helps teachers and student groups understand how a current learning/system pattern is under strain, what preferred future they want to grow, and which transition innovations genuinely move toward that future.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Three-horizon mapping (H1 → H3 → H2): Produces a structured map where H1 is the dominant pattern under strain, H3 is the grounded preferred future, and H2 items are classified as H2+ (move toward H3) or H2- (extend H1 in new language).
- Grounded H3 requirement: Forces H3 to include real “pockets” already visible somewhere in the present so H2 can be classified analytically.
- Transition story + quality gates: Generates a concise narrative of what’s declining/emerging/contested and flags common failure modes (e.g., vague H3, structural weaknesses in H1, moral framing).
Example use case: After scoping an inquiry topic about student wellbeing in learning, run the mapper to distinguish which classroom changes are truly moving the system toward your desired wellbeing pattern versus adaptations that preserve the old logic.
Quick Start
Use the three-horizons-learning-transition-mapper skill to map your inquiry topic and value dimension into H1/H3/H2 (H2+ vs H2-) using the provided worksheet prompt sequence.
