What problem does it solve?
Estimating realistic project timelines is challenging when inputs are uncertain, teams vary in capacity, and dependencies complicate schedules. This skill provides structured, multi-scenario end-dates (optimistic, most-likely, pessimistic) using three-point (PERT), analogous, parametric, and velocity-based methods, producing a clear milestone plan and an actionable critical path.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Three-point / PERT estimates: compute optimistic, most-likely, and pessimistic durations for each work item and the overall timeline.
- Dependency-mapping integration: determine the critical path when dependencies exist and respect calendar constraints.
- Diagrams and milestones: generate Mermaid Gantt and timeline diagrams, plus a milestone plan with entry criteria.
- Output end-date ranges: provide clean O/M/P end-date ranges for communication and risk assessment.
Quick Start
