What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps self-directed investors extract actionable insights from their Schwab portfolio and generate profit-taking and income strategies, reducing decision latency and preserving privacy by operating locally with portfolio.json data.

Core Features & Use Cases

• Identify winners and categorize them by gains (e.g., large, medium, moderate) to target profit-taking opportunities.
• For each winning position, perform a profit-taking analysis using live data, score each winner with the outlined criteria, and generate specific trim recommendations.
• Map current income from dividends, compare to benchmarks (10-year yield, SCHD, SPY), and propose income enhancements such as covered calls or dividend-growth additions.
• Compile a consolidated, actionable plan including taxes, deployment of proceeds, and next steps, saved to TRADE-GUIDANCE.md.

Quick Start

Drop portfolio/portfolio.json into your Schwab export folder, then run /trade guidance to generate your personalized profit-taking and income plan.
