What problem does it solve?

Analysts need concise, company‑specific macro and micro trend insights to justify investment theses. Generic industry commentary is useless; this Skill extracts and contextualizes the forces that directly impact a deal.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Scans six trend directions (regulatory, technology, buyer behavior, macro/economic, competitive, social/environmental) and ensures each is evaluated for relevance.
  • Requires upstream deal context (deal‑context.json, value‑chain.json) to produce company‑specific impact statements.
  • Generates a structured JSON table with trend, direction, category, horizon, impact, source, and notes, plus a net assessment summary.
  • Ideal for early‑stage investment analysis, seed to series‑A deals, and any scenario needing a “why now” narrative.

Quick Start

Ask the agent to run the trends‑analyzer skill on the current deal folder to produce a Trends JSON output.
