What problem does it solve?
It fixes stale, orphaned, blocked, and abandoned bead states so that br ready remains a reliable “what’s next” source of truth.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Snapshot and prioritize bead populations (ready, stale, orphans, blocked, in-progress, and epic close-eligibility) to identify where state drift and backlog noise are coming from.
- Per-bead decisioning to close true orphans/stale work, defer items that are relevant later, escalate or update dependency claims, and demote zombies back to claimable
open. - Documentation and cleanup discipline by applying a commit-based summary (JSONL flush + git commit) so triage results persist and are measurable.
Quick Start
Run the triage workflow for your bead system and then commit the updated .beads/issues.jsonl after closing, deferring, and reopening items as appropriate.
