What problem does it solve?
Terminal user interfaces (TUIs) are notoriously flaky to debug and share due to environment and timing differences. This skill provides a reproducible framework to capture TUI sessions as video and screenshots, along with run metadata, so teams can diagnose regressions and illustrate issues consistently.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Reproducible TUI video and PNG snapshot artifacts using the tooling in /dp/tui_inspector.
- Deterministic captures by isolating runtime state (e.g., separate databases and storage) and supporting multiple profiles such as analytics-empty, analytics-seeded, messages-seeded, and tour-seeded.
- Suite-mode and report generation to enable end-to-end validation, regression testing, and bug reproduction sharing.
Quick Start
Execute the capture script with your binary and project directory to generate a video and a PNG snapshot.
